From Cupcakes to Cake pops, it’s ESP’s Birthday Again

When we blew out the candles on our cupcakes last year, we never would have guessed so many of our wishes would come true. Today is ESP’s 44th Birthday, and while there are a few pending wishes left (we can’t tell you what they are, or you know they won’t come true!) we are excited to reflect on the past year. Looking back at our photo from last year, it may be hard to recognize us, as we, like Madonna, keep reinventing ourselves, even well into our forties.

During this last year we thought a lot about who we are, what has made us successful, who we want to be as we continue to grow, and how we can continue to provide the best service for the companies and IT pros we work with. Staying true to our company values and history, we learned what “Express Yourself” really means while re-branding with a new logo and reviewing our company messages.

Another major change this year was our move into the Historic Rand Tower. The new modern space represents our company culture and allows us to better host our clients and IT pros. Our team couldn’t be happier with their private offices, ergonomic chairs, sit/stand desks, and meeting spaces that help us collaborate and have fun. We were lucky enough to welcome several new team members this year, putting us well on our way to filling our new office space.

Last fall, we were ranked the twelfth fastest growing private company in the Twin Cities by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and earlier this year, we were again ranked fourth in executive search firms in Minnesota. In August, we were honored to be named one of the Best Places to Work in the Twin Cities Metro.

We are expecting more exciting changes in our next year, beginning with a big announcement: today we begin a new division specializing in healthcare IT services. We are proud of this new venture and excited to continue to serve the Twin Cities IT community when we get “Into the Groove” (I couldn’t resist) of this new division.

We’ve loved reinventing ourselves this year, and in tribute to the Queen of Pop, this year’s candles will be lit atop “pop cakes.”  Yum.  We can’t wait to watch more wishes come true in the year ahead.
